Taking a VIP Desert Safari Dubai is one of the coolest and greatest experiences you can have in the city. The journey begins in the afternoon when a professional driver comes to pick you up from your hotel/residence. You will be travelling in a luxury 4x4 vehicle, examples are: Land Cruiser or even the classy Mercedes G63. You can book a private or shared car, get picked up around 3:00 to 3:30 PM, and enjoy a smooth, peaceful drive through the desert before the activities start. The driver will take you to either Al Aweer Desert with smaller brown dunes or Lahbab Desert with tall red dunes, both deserts are great for adventure.
Once you arrive at the desert, your driver will lower the tire pressure to make the vehicle ready for dune bashing. Your adventure on the sand will begin. Dune bashing is probably one of the most thrilling parts of the safari. The vehicle speeds over large soft dunes and goes straight up and down like a roller coaster. Dune bashing usually lasts about 30-55 minutes. It is very enjoyable but also very safe since the drivers are experienced and trained. You can enjoy the ride, laugh, take photos and video, and see the beautiful views of desert surroundings. In addition, you can also try sandboarding, which is to go down the sand on a board. After that, you will get to enjoy a short camel ride. Camels were used to trek across the desert many, many years ago, so riding a camel gives you a feel of life in the desert. If you want more adventurous options, we can recommend options of quad bikes or dune buggies. You can enjoy these fun activities at your own pace, but they are not included in the VIP Desert Safari Dubai, so you’ll need to pay a little extra.
After the adventure, you will visit a wonderful desert resort named Bab Al Shams Al Hadeerah. This resort is designed to look like an old Arabic village while having all the luxuries of a five-star service. You will be greeted here with Arabic coffee, dates, juices, and cold beverages, and will then be seated at round tables in a quiet outdoor area designed for you to relax and enjoy the desert evening. As the sun sets, it's time for a tasty dinner. The VIP desert safari includes a live barbecue buffet dinner with lots of delicious food. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes available, and all food is cooked fresh at the resort. Also included are unlimited drinks, excluding the bar, which can contain tea, coffee, water, soft drinks, and juices. After dinner, you will enjoy six cultural shows like belly dancing, spinning Tanoura, Khaleeji dance, oud music, drums, and a fire show, all showing Arabian culture. All the shows are on a large stage with lights and music, and lots of colors, providing a festive, fun and entertaining atmosphere. There are also many other experiences available at the resort. You can have henna on your hands, try flavored sheesha, wear traditional Arabic dress for a photo, or hold a falcon and take pictures with it. The resort is very clean and very organized. There are private bathrooms for men and women, bright light, and a sound system. All of these facilities are designed for your comfort and enjoyment. If you do not want to do dune bashing, either for a reason like being pregnant or having kids, we have an air-conditioned lounge for you to stay in while the others enjoy the ride, and no charge for you to use this part of the service. When the VIP Desert Safari Dubai is done, at around 9:30 or 10:00 PM, our driver will drop you to your hotel or hotel, in the same luxury car, and if you booked a private transfer option, you can also simply leave early if you like.
